Hello, my name is Sandra Bullock, and I am looking forward to getting to know you and your second grader.  I am excited that I am your child’s teacher for the 2024-2025 school year.

 About Me

 I have been in the field of education for more than 20 years.  I received my BS Degree from North Carolina A&T State University and my Masters in Reading Education from East Carolina University. I began working in Halifax County in 2014 as a 5^th grade ELA/ Social Studies teacher.  Since that time, I have enjoyed serving the students of Everetts Elementary as a Reading Coach, STEM Lab Facilitator, and Second Grade Master Teacher. This school year I will continue to serve the students of Everetts Elementary STEM Academy as a Second Grade Teacher.

 2024-2025 Goals:

• Build respectful relationships with students
• Establish and maintain a safe and orderly classroom
• Engage students in lessons and project-based learning that are challenging, innovating, and inspiring.
• Assist students in setting long and short-term goals in order to encourage them to strive for growth and proficiency throughout the school year.

 At this point, I would like to encourage you to be involved in your child’s education by becoming a member of the Everetts Elementary STEM Academy PTA.  Being a member of the PTA will give you a voice in some aspects of your child’s education.
