We are off to a great year!

Welcome to Mrs. Horton and Mrs. Mills’ Pre-Kindergarten classroom.

We are so excited about this upcoming school year! It will be a year filled with fun, learning, and lots of adventures.  We are thrilled to work with you and your child. Stay connected as we "anchor down” and focus on what's “essential” to impact our year together!

I am Mrs. Markita Mills, and I am the Assistant pre-k teacher.  I am a graduate of  Halifax Community College with a degree of Associate in Applied Science in Early Childhood. My years of teaching have been in Halifax County Schools since 2018 --all of which have been in pre-kindergarten education. I have four children; a son in high school at Northwest, a recent graduate of Hollister Elementary Leadership Academy, a Kindergartner at Hollister Elementary Leadership Academy and a 9 month old.

--I believe that all children are a gift from God, which takes patience and commitment to make them successful.
