I am a native of Edgecombe County. I earned my undergraduate degree in middle grades, with a concentration in English and Social Studies from East Carolina University. I have a Master’s Degree in School Administration from Barton College. I am a doctoral candidate specializing in curriculum and instruction at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. 

I have served as a teacher, literacy coach, and assistant principal. I am passionate about education and am excited to join the Enfield Middle STEAM Academy family.
