Ms. Katina Lynch, Principal
Dear Hornets,
Welcome to an exciting new school year! I hope you all have had a fun-filled summer with family and friends. As we embark on year two, I am beyond grateful and blessed to serve as your principal.
I believe that “all” students have the potential to be GREAT! To realize students’ greatness, the staff of Aurelian Springs Institute of Global Learning will put students first to maximize their fullest potential. We will support and communicate the school’s high expectations, and work together with students and parents to grow students academically and socially, as well as assist them in discovering their talents and giftedness through a global perspective.
It is my goal to create a global learning environment in which students experience their world through language immersion and project-based learning with an emphasis on real-world problem-solving and “principles of design thinking”. As a global magnet and dual language school, we will learn about global issues and relationships as we study the people and cultures of other countries.
As Hornets, we have a global purpose. We are focused explorers and problem-solvers. We will strive to think critically and creatively and communicate our perspectives through various technological mediums. I look forward to seeing each of you embrace your learning experiences and sharing them with others. There may be hurdles along the way to avoid as we soar above challenges to perform at our best each day. However, daily attendance, quality classroom participation, and adherence to social discipline will be our values for achieving success.
As your principal, I will strive to enhance your time at Aurelian Springs Institute of Global Learning with unity and excellence to assist in achieving your dreams. I am inviting the school community to assist us with a productive school year. Let’s work together by building school and community relationships, collaborating, and providing honest and open communication for an empowering school year.
I am excited and looking forward to a great school year!
Sincerely,
Ms. Katina Lynch, Principal
