My name is Sarah Franco, and I am excited to welcome you to the 2024 Fall semester!  

As a CTE Business Teacher at Northwest Collegiate and Technical Academy, I am thrilled to be teaching **Business Essentials** and **Financial Planning** this semester. These subjects are more than just classes—they’re gateways to understanding how the world works and building a foundation for your future success.  

My passion lies in empowering students like you to grasp the importance of business and personal finance. From learning how to manage a budget to understanding the broader economic forces shaping our lives, my goal is to provide you with practical skills and knowledge that you can apply immediately and throughout your life.  

This semester, we’ll dive into engaging, real-world topics—from analyzing the financial strategies behind current events to exploring the economics of industries like sports and entertainment. Together, we’ll tackle hands-on projects that will build your confidence and sharpen your decision-making skills.
