Welcome to Third Grade, School Year 2024-2025, in Room G106!

Dear Parents and Scholars,

I am excited to welcome you all to our classroom! My name is Mrs. Portada, and I am honored to be your teacher this year. Let me take a moment to introduce myself. I am from the Philippines, and I have been teaching for 9 years. Coming from a family of educators, I knew from a young age that I wanted to be a teacher, just like you are scholars today! I worked hard in school to pursue my dream and earned my Bachelor of Elementary Education and Master of Arts in Education from Silliman University and the University of the Visayas in the Philippines. I have taught third grade for three of those nine years, and I also have experience in international teaching and working with students with special needs in Special Education.

In our classroom, we will explore new ideas, build lasting friendships, and have plenty of fun while learning. This website will be your go-to place for important updates and resources to help your scholar succeed.
