    Hello Tigers! 
    Welcome to 1st Grade!
     
    My name is Ivy McFarland and I am excited to be your child's teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. 
     
    I was born and raised in La Ceiba, Honduras, where I have most of my teaching experience. I graduated from Universidad Pedagógica Nacional "Francisco Morazán" in Honduras, where I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education.  
     
    My teaching journey in the United States began in 2016. It has been a life-changing and rewarding experience. Being exposed to different educational practices and teachings has helped me become a better individual both personally and professionally. I am ready for a fun-filled and magical school year! Let's go Tigers!!
