Hello! I am Mrs. Nerissa F. Dayanan from the Philippines. A fourth-grade teacher here in EESA teaching ELA and Social Studies. With over 20 years of teaching experience, I am committed to fostering a love of learning and helping each scholar reach their full potential. I hold a Bachelor of Elementary Education degree from Cebu Normal University, Cebu City, Philippines, where I developed a strong foundation in child development and teaching methodologies. 

In my classroom, I emphasize a growth mindset, encouraging students to embrace challenges and learn from their mistakes. I also create engaging lessons, which incorporate hands-on activities, technology, and real-world connections to make learning exciting and relevant.

Outside my classroom, I enjoy traveling from other states. I also participate in Filipino and church community events and volunteer with local programs aimed at supporting children's education. My dedication to my scholars and community makes me a beloved member of the EESA family.

Lastly, I believe that every child has unique strengths and strives to create an inclusive environment where all students feel valued and motivated to succeed.
