	The office of Public Information and Communications uses a variety of communication tools to inform our community about the exciting things that are happening in Halifax County School District. The department manages media and public relations, District and school website, social media, marketing, and advertising, district promotion, and special events. The Public Information Office is responsible for maintaining effective communications with the Halifax County community at large and within the school system itself. It serves Halifax County School students, families, employees, news media, and the local community by providing clear, accurate, and timely information about our schools. Flyer Distribution Schools are frequently asked to distribute announcements and flyers as a public service for various organizations. To submit a flyer, please email the Public Information Officer at careym@halifax.k12.nc.us.
